Stonehedge Capital LLP was founded in 2021 by Baurzhan Seilkhanov and Yerkebulan Toguzbayev. SHC holds Managing Collective Investment Scheme License from Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) # AFSA-A-LA-2021-0005 dated 02 March 2021. SHC typically applies a fundamental value discipline to identify undervalued public companies with near future catalysts to unlock that value.

In May 2021 Stonehedge Capital LLP launched its first fund: SHC ALEM FUND OEIC Ltd. The Fund is focused on investing in undervalued companies of CIS region using RTS Index derivatives for hedging.
